Boutique de Danse is an happening aiming to play around the relation between dance and economy, starting from the simple question : How much does a piece of dance cost ? What is then the economic value of a dance piece? Can a moment have a price ? And how do the performers connect their work to money, payment and the market ?

Boutique de danse is an ironic reflection about the relation between the economic mechanism and the ephemeral character belonging to the art of dance. Since October 2007 a group of artists (dancers, performers, actors, singer, poet and a choreographer) meets to experiment about this topic for 4 - 5 days. Boutique de Danse is a fragile performance prepared in short time. It is a pool for choreography and performance research.
